Little Girls' Earrings for Christmas

Today I had the great pleasure to spend Christmas Day with my daughter's family including her daughers, Jasmine, Chloe and Thalia. Opening presents was of course, a highlight of the day for the girls. I was pleased to see a complete lack of electronic games, but plenty of board games, books, art and craft gifts, and outdoor pursuits equipment. The two eldest girls have their ears pierced so I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to give them each a new pair of the cutest children's earrings I could find. Over the year, they have both expressed a desire to have certain styles but, not a believer in spoiling them unnecessarily, I held out until Christmas. The eldest wanted some children's dangly earrings and had her heart set on: Sterling Silver Flower and Butterfly Earrings with Pink and Clear CZ and Safety Screw Backs The younger wanted butterflies and as Baby Jewels has loads of butterfly kids earrings, I chose another pair of children's screw backs: Sterling Silver Butterflies with Safety Screw Backs. They were both a hit with the girls and they were immediately installed into little ears. Several years ago, I gave them children's jewellery boxes at Christmas and they have kept them and faithfully stored their various items of jewellery in them, ever since. The elder girl turned 8 earlier in December and received a pretty heart shaped children's necklace on a 16" chain and the younger girl turns 7 in early January. I'm tossing up between a necklace and a bracelet, or perhaps I'll go for another pair of earrings, having seen how popular they were today.
