A Break Away

Last weekend, we took from midday Friday to midday Monday from work and went to a coastal town which we'd never been to before. We loved every minute of it and part of the weekend was spent attending the local beachside markets on Sunday morning. Like most markets, there was plenty of ethnic and fashion jewellery to choose from and I was thrilled to find some baby bracelets in the friendship bracelet style. I've always thought these earthy little bracelets, made from waxed cotton or woven leather, often in macrame designs, very cute on babies. These little bracelets featured undyed, unpainted, smooth wooden beads. Baby bracelets don't always have to be gold and silver, in fact any baby jewellery, that is jewellery that's made specifically for babies, looks very cute on a chubby wrist. Watching some Mums trying the little bracelets on their little one's wrists, I could tell that they would have agreed.
