As 2011 draws to a close, I find I'm looking back on a year of ups and downs here in Queensland, Australia. Severe flooding in South East Queensland took a terrible toll and we still have people unable to return to their homes, almost a year later.
The Global Financial Crisis took another toll on Australians and Australian businesses, and we face the spectre of rising unemployment in the New Year.
Not all has been grim though, in 2011. Babies have been born, children have started school, and we still find plenty to celebrate.
Here at Baby Jewels, we've had a good year, better than last, and we finish the year with over 100 baby and children's bracelets to choose from. We have over 100 baby and children's earrings, and there have been big increases in children's necklaces and anklets categories. We are starting to look like a Baby and Children's Jewellery Superstore!
I continue to find new styles of baby jewellery and in fact, in the last week have placed orders with three new suppliers so we're going to start the New Year with lots of fresh stock and even more to choose from!
